"The whole purpose of life is to make God a reality."

"Be like the Sun for grace and mercy. Be like the Night to cover other's faults. Be like running Water for generosity. Be like Death for rage and anger. Be like the Earth for modesty. Appear as you are. Be as you appear" ~ Rumi

A Verdade do Amor

- Sri Prem Baba

“I tell you one thing — if you want peace of mind, do not find fault with others. Rather learn to see your own faults. Learn to make the whole world your own. No one is a stranger, my child; the whole world is your own.”

— Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi

- Sárada Devi (A Santa Mãe)

“One night Mother Sarada [Sarada Devi, the wife, nun-consort of Sri Ramakrishna, pictured] worshipped the moon. She saw that even the moon has blemishes. Then she prayed, “May my mind not have any blemishes.” Sri Ramakrishna stood behind her and said, “When your thought, word and deed become one, your prayers will be answered.” This happens when the mind is completely pure. So long as you say something and mean something else, you are not pure. If your words and actions are different, you are not pure.

Ganesha is a sign of brahmacharya.

In the scriptures we read how when Ganesha was young he played with a cat. Later in the day he went to his mother – the goddess Parvati - and said, “I am so happy to have played with a cat.” Then he noticed that his mother had a scratch mark on her body. He said, “How did that happen, Mother?” She answered, “You did that.” Ganesha said, “But I did not come here today mother.” Then, as the Universal Soul, she explained: “I exist in every being and if you hurt that being you will hurt me.” You must be very, very careful. You must not hurt your Deity in the heart of another being.

Krishna said, “I am seated in the hearts of all beings.”

When you make a man suffer, in reality the Deity is suffering. See what is sitting in the heart: the Deity.

When God takes the form of man He will not show supernatural powers; because the laws are made by God.

You can transcend the world by the laws of this world - just as when you are drowning you can overcome the sea by the aid of the waves. Take the natural laws and transcend the world.

This is how God gets hurt: He takes the form of man and gets hurt in the form of man. This is why we say do not find fault with anybody.”
